Today I wanted to take a moment to brag on my amazing Squad as we head to into our our last month I had to take sometime to stop and look back on my journey with these amazing and beautiful people that I now call family.

From the moment I met the amazing people that makes S squad I knew that this squad was different. If you didn’t know I actually signed up to go on the Race back in January of 2016 and then the Lord placed it on my heart that it wasn’t the time for me to leave and I switched routes to leave that August and then again the Lord changed my plans for me to leave this pass January with S squad. Although at the time I was a little frustrated with the Lord I’m so happy that I got to go on this journey with S squad because I wouldn’t want it any other way.

From the moment we headed to Training Camp people saw something different in our squad. We’ve gotten to pioneer so many different things as a squad like blogging two times a week. I know it doesn’t seem like much but when wifi is slim to nun blogging can be hard. We had the opportunity to be part of the first Awakening in Cambodia and our entire squad including our leadership was fully funded by month 5 which hasn’t happen to a squad in such a long time!

God has been so faithful and good to us and although we’ve had our rough patches we’ve come together and lifted each other up to God. Back in training camp one of our leadership got a word from God and that was “hard” he said “the Lord said this race was going to be hard but if we choose to press into the hard moments we would see Gods goodness at the end.” Starting our race in India as a squad we experienced some crazy spiritual warfare and we could have run away and say “we want to go home” or we could press into God and learn the power and authority that we walk in as sons and daughters of God and we chose the second one. We learned to walk in the gifts of the Father and to fight our battles on our knees. I can’t believe in just a short month we’ll be heading home but I’m so proud of this Squad and the journey that we’ve all been on I believe that as we walk in our identity as children of the mighty God people will still be seeing amazing things coming from S squad even after the race is done.

WE STARTED STRONG AND WE’LL FINISH STRONGER!
