Buzz word of the month for Z squad?
transition.
We find ourselves here at the end of month THREE (when did that happen?!) ready for a shift.
A shift in leadership, a shift in teams, and a shift in the vision of our squad.
We are RISING UP as men and women who are realizing their identities as sons and daughters of the King.
We are HEALING – as we receive healing from our past wounds and release from the chains we've worn, we bring the healing and power and anointing of JESUS into the places we go.
We are letting go of what we've known and letting God define us and our race.
Joshua and Megan have served us, loved us, and empowered us SO well in this first leg of the journey. They have believed in us from the start, they have pushed us to the uncomfortable places where growth and change happen, they have imparted their wisdom, experience, and anointing on us as a family.
They have run the race well, and now it's their turn to hand over the reigns.
Christin and Nick, our new squad leaders, are on FIRE. Seriously. This man and woman love Jesus with every fiber of their being and the authority they carry is just ridiculous. They are going to lead our squad with such vision and passion, and it is an honor to follow and serve under their leadership.
Team H.O.P.E. had three beautiful months of seeking the Lord together and figuring out what this crazy journey is all about. We laughed, we cried, we fought, we served together, and on Sunday night we sealed our season with a sunset and prayer on the beach.
With hands wide open and my trust in the Lord, I walked into team changes knowing that above all God is sovereign – He is greater than my heart and He knows everything! (1 John 3:20) After a time of prayer and worship on the beach, the Lord revealed His perfect plan for the next leg of this journey.
Let me introduce you to…
Team SOUND of STRENGTH
We are Abba's song to the nations
It is my honor and joy to walk into this new season hand in hand with these mighty women of favor, strength and truth!
I lean not on my own understanding
My life is in the hands of the Maker of heaven
I give it all to You God, trusting that you'll make something beautiful out of me
There's nothing I hold on to
I will climb this mountain with my hands wide open
