This is something that the Lord pierced my heart with in South Africa and is continuing to teach me in this season. (Check out my South Africa blog for more of what God did in me there!) ALL we have is God's love to share with others. There is no inherent good in us; the only good in us comes from a good and perfect Father who has lavished His love on us. It is because of the great love He has for us that we can even love. (1 John 4:19) PRAISE GOD that this is NOT about us!
I am so thankful that I am on this journey with Jesus.
I am learning to find joy in the things I can't do alone.
I am thankful for this support raising process because it is something I absolutely cannot do alone.
I NEED God to be my Provider, my Jehovah Jireh.
I NEED Him to work in the hearts of believers and non-believers alike and stir others to come alongside me in the race.
I believe with all of my heart that THIS is the adventure He is calling me to.
I am trusting and believing and putting all bets on the One who created the universe and the mountains and the sunsets and this heart.
It's NOT about me, what I can do, or traveling the world.
It's about JESUS.
It's about the kingdom.
It's about love.
It's about community.
It's about bringing light, hope, healing and freedom.
It's about shattering darkness.
IT'S ABOUT JESUS.
I have been blown away by the generosity of YOU all and the provision of God so far. WOW WOW WOW – THANK YOU!! YOU are impacting the kingdom with your prayers and giving. You all are JUST as much a part of this trip as me (If I could squeeze you all into my pack I would!) and I am so thankful for your support!
