In 9 days my Race is ending.
Z Squad will board our final flight from Liberia, Costa Rica to Miami, Florida.
My 41 brothers and sisters will scamper to get their bags and meet their connecting flights or their families and friends (Emily, Melissa and Rebecca – I can't WAIT to tackle you!!) and head to their perspective states and countries.
This whole year will become like Narnia…this place that only the Z fam knows about and remembers together, this weird thing that we lived through where time didn't make sense and God moved in crazy ways and we somehow survived and thrived in intense community via lots of laughter and feedback.

But I can't think about that too much right now.

I'm focusing on being present, on soaking up every second with these people and in these countries.

SO. Here's what we've been up to:

Teams Sound and 220 and Squadettes on the 4th at the canal! LOVE this family!

Cardboard Testimonies (mine says PEACE in GOD!)

hanging out at the retirement home

invading homes of church members for dinner and worship

enjoying God's breathtaking creation! private island, snorkeling and whale watching – wahoo!

praying with lots of school children

making new friends

praying and worshipping at Casa de Luz with Pastor Roger (LOVE!)

surviving an all night prayer and worship service

shamelessly acting like fools to share the Gospel
(here we are being monkeys for the infamous Chicken Skit…we act like chickens, airplanes, monkeys and Christians and talk about how acting like something doesn't actually make us that thing. SO FUN!)

lots and lots and lots and lots of dramas

sharing our stories and the hope and redemption we have in Christ
