You know those days that feel like a month, and weeks that feel like a flash? That's exactly how training camp felt.

I arrived at camp in Copperhill, TN on Saturday evening after a full day at Disney on Friday followed by 3 short, short hours of sleep and a 7 hour road trip with some pretty amazing ladies. It wasn't until I began setting up my tent and meeting my new family that I realized "Holy smokes…I'm at TRAINING CAMP!"

That night, we were given the opportunity to have an "okay" moment. A moment to breathe deep, to take it all in, to allow ourselves that all the talking and planning and packing and traveling had finally passed and we were now here, really here, at training. Deep breath. Okay, Jesus. I'm here.  I'm in. Let's do this.

My week consisted of quite a few of these moments. Deep breath. Okay, Jesus. Okay, Holy Spirit. Okay, God. I trust You. I TRUST You. I'll walk into this because I know You've gone before me and You are right here with me. There is no need to fear – this is who You're calling me out to be!

Worship. Freedom. Healing. LIFE. Dancing. Laughter.

The intentionality and intimacy of training camp is beautiful and has allowed the Z family to walk into deeper freedom and a greater sense of identity. That is what this year will be for us – a year of breaking chains and claiming and owning who we have been made to be in Christ Jesus.

The 2am downpour, the epic dance parties, squad wars, lost luggage incidents, cultural meals and morning exercises are just some of the ways that the Z became family in truly a matter of hours. We learned, quickly, what it means to trust each other and support each other in times of needs, to laugh with each other in times of joy, and to speak LIFE into one another.

We are seriously the most blessed squad, EVER, because we get to reside under the the authority of our stinkin' AWESOME squad leaders – Megan Dietrich and Joshua Maisner!

And now, introducing….Team H.O.P.E!

H.elping O.thers P.ursue E.ternity

I am truly honored and humbled to lead this team of hilarious, God-fearing and God-exalting men and women. It is so obvious that the Lord has intentionally hand-crafted this diverse team for His glory. I absolutely cannot wait to walk into this season of the race hand in hand with these five people. I KNOW that kingdom is in their steps and in their words and in their hearts, and wherever we tread there WILL be light and others will come to pursue eternity as we learn to pursue it as well.
