So, I’ll admit it…I’ve been slacking on blogging (and really all communication) this month.

However, my life has been a wee bit hectic this month.

Living in a surf hostel with 4 teams (23 racers in all, and 25 for the first two weeks while Megan and Joshua visited), figuring out schedules for all 23 of those people, reworking those schedules as ministry changes, teaching surf school daily from 2-5pm, team time and one-on-ones…

God has been redefining ministry for me this month, to say the least.

He’s reshaping my idea of what it looks like to be a "missionary", a kingdom bringer.

It’s my desire (His heart in me) to not only be the hands and feet of Jesus here but empower others to do the same, to see others run farther than I can, to bend low so that my brothers and sisters can stand on my back and reach higher.

He’s constantly challenging me to choose in, to see what He’s doing, to listen to His voice.

My heart aches for the people of South Africa and for people all over this great continent.

My prayer is that FREEDOM would reign in this place and that we, the Z squad warriors, would be a people that bring freedom.

Won’t you join me in prayer this week as we finish out month 3 strong? Pray that our hearts and eyes would be open to the opportunities Jesus places in front of us to speak life and bring kingdom. Pray that our ears would be attentive to the whispers of the Father and that we would move on His behalf. In Jesus' name!
