Chances are, I probably don’t know you. However, you came across this page for a reason. There is something that He wanted to communicate to you. So, as unusual as this may be, here is a letter I wrote to you from Him.
You may think God is an angry, judgmental, far off being who lives somewhere in the clouds and knows nothing about you or the life you’ve lived. On the contrary, what God desires most of you is YOU. He formed you, knowing exactly what you were going to look like, what your personality was going to be, how many times you’ve laughed, cried, shouted in anger, what your name was going to be, who your parents were going to be, who your friends and family were going to be. He knows all the thoughts you had, have had and will have even before you were made. He knew if you were going to reject him, defame or insult his name, yet he thought of you when he died of that cross.
My dear, listen to my words. Your worth does not come from them. Whoever ‘them’ may be. You were created for the creator.
The creator who decided to love you when you decided to run away.
God who decided to forgive you, despite you running away before you could ever hear those words.
Listen. You are Loved.
Do you believe me? Let me say it again.
You. Are. Loved.
All the things that have happened to you, it was NOT your fault. It was NEVER your fault.
Come into his arms.
If you know the Lord, then you must know this:
“Beloved, we are God’s children now…” (1 John 3:2)
You are pure, holy, blameless.
“Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who CALLS YOU is FAITHFUL; HE WILL surely do it” (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24).
Your life has value. You have worth given only by the one who is the very definition of Love. Beloved, lift your head. Let not another day pass without knowing God’s acceptance and love.
