The past three weeks have undoubtedly been three of the busiest, love-filled weeks of my life.  I had an amazing send-off in St. Augustine, a very successful garage sale, and said goodbye for now to a piece of my heart, the city where I fell in love with my Savior.

I have been living back in Vero for two weeks, and am preparing myself to say “See you later alligator…”, to my family tonight. (They won’t accept ‘Goodbye’). They have been a wonderful support to me in preparing for this, THANK YOU ALL for the time spent together this week, and the copious amounts of food you provided for me – I promise, I will not come back weighing 90lbs…  I fly out of MIA tomorrow afternoon for a brief, leader training session in the Dominican Republic, then we begin month 1 in Haiti.

PRAYER REQUESTS: – The strangers we soon will meet and love, that God will prepare their hearts and open their minds to the love of Christ
                                 – Health
                                 – Protection (physical and spiritual)

As of right now I still have about $3,000 to raise for my support account. The press in Vero has done an awesome job promoting the World Race – here are two articles that appeared this week, the second one today on the front page of ‘The Press Journal’:

9 months of prep, and it’s time to go. Thank you for your prayers, they are essential. You’ll hear from me in Haiti. God Bless!
