I realized today, money gets deducted from my support for online credit card donations. If you are going to donate online, there is a ‘bank draft method’ – I believe this allows AIM to deduct funds from your bank account, bypassing any credit card fees.
Over $40 has already been taken from my support to cover fees – my team figured out this could amount to $715 if all donations were made online!

NOTE: When donations are made on your behalf there are fees charged by the credit card and transaction processing companies. To cover these costs, 5% is removed from donations made by credit card when those donations are credited to your account. You will see these deductions as negative amounts in the “Gifts” list above. You can encourage donors to select the Bank Draft option to avoid these deductions.
