I am just coming back from one of the most intense weeks of my 24.95 years – and I haven’t even launched yet. May 22-30th I was in Georgia at Training Camp preparing for the journey God has in store for me. I met and fell in love my squad of 74 beautiful warriors hungry to bring the Kingdom, and God showed up. He didn’t just swing by and say ‘Hey, glad you could make it, see you in Haiti.’ He pitched a tent right next to us and spent the week showing the P Squad just how powerful we are when we place our full faith and trust in Him.
I would like to introduce you to mi familia that I will be leading and loving passionately for the next year of my life:
Team Reckless
“Passionately pursuing Christ’s people with reckless abandon.”
Our mission statement
‘However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me-the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.’ – Acts 20:24
Our verse to live, serve and persevere by
Sara Hansen
The last night of Training I was laying in my bunk having a conference with God about how I was going to continue to lead my team while we would physically be absent from one another over the next month. I kept getting the letters L S P over and and over in my mind. It took me a second to get it.
“Thank you, Lord! I will commit to LOVE, SERVE and PROTECT them whatever the capacity.”
One of my hearts greatest desires is to be a wife and mother. I’m not claiming that I understand the love a mother has for her children, however – once I pieced together LSP, I was vehemently overcome with a dedication to support, nourish and aid to the growth of these 5 individuals, no matter the sacrifice on my end. I am PROUD of these people. I love them and will battle not only alongside them, but for them.
I have now been nicknamed, ‘the lioness’ by my crew. They get it 🙂
