Hello friends!

Before I pass along the videos from Vietnam, I first want to thank everyone who financially donated this past week to my World Race journey. Every little bit counts, and I am truly grateful for your generosity and partnership in His kingdom-building. But I am still in need of $2,011 by my last deadline tomorrow, Friday, April 29 and need your help in getting there. I know it will take a miracle from God to raise such a large amount of money in just one day so I ask that you join me in prayer and in action — that the Lord will mobilize the community of family and friends He has surrounded me with to raise these last funds that I need. And I know I may sound like a broken record, but if you’re one of those led to action (whether as a first-time or repeat donor), please do so using the link below.

And now, on to the Vietnam videos made by my squadmate dani! And if you missed my last newsletter on Vietnam, read it here!

[DISCLAIMER: Since these are dani’s videos, she has been adding personal dedications for her supporters at the end of each video. So don’t feel bad if you don’t watch to the end!]

TRAVELING TO AND THRU VIETNAM!

These two videos recap our travel day adventures from Cambodia to Vietnam — first on our 7 hour bus ride to Ho Chi Minh City (video #1) and then another 19+ hours of travel to our ministry city of Da Nang…in a sleeper bus (video #2)!

MINISTRY!

These next three videos highlight what life was like in Da Nang — from settling into the city (video #1) and working with both Orphan Voice and Da Nang International Fellowship (video #2) to karaoke with the English club (video #3)!

OFF DAY FUN!

These next few videos capture our “off day” experiences this month — from our day trip to Hoi An (video #1) and teammate’s baptism on the beach (video #2) to a “night on the town” in Da Nang (including the Dragon Bridge!) (video #3) and an assortment of other adventures (video #4)!

MORE DA NANG FUN!

And one last video on Da Nang — of all the random fun and hilarity we had… and of shaving my head!

There’s strangely a lot of footage of yours truly in this video…

DEBRIEF IN VUNG TAU!

Next, these two videos show what our first squad debrief in Vung Tau was like — from our worship sessions, team lip sync battles, Easter sunrise service and some squad fun (video #1) to the revealing of our new teams (video #2)!

TRAVELING OUT OF VIETNAM!

This video recaps our travel out of Vietnam — from our bus ride from Vung Tau to Ho Chi Minh City and then boarding our plane (with some complications…) to our layover in Malaysia, en route to Indonesia!

ONE WORD

And lastly, this special video was a project that our Squad Storytellers did during debrief where they asked each person, “Describe your experience with The World Race thus far in one word.” Let’s just say that the creative process was awkward, but the end product was pretty great and hilarious! Take a look!

And that’s a wrap on my March in Vietnam! And also my time with Team Lift.

It was such a blessing to be on a team and live in community with dani, Danielle, Darek, EmilyAnn and Sarah. I am thankful for the opportunity to spend my first three months of The World Race with them, sharing in much life and memories together. They helped kick-start and shape my Race in ways that I may never fully know.

This also means that dani will no longer be on my team so video recaps of my future months may be scarce. But if you’re still interested in seeing what our squad is doing on the Race, subscribe to dani’s YouTube channel (link below) and follow along! Maybe I’ll show up in a cameo!

Thanks again for watching and supporting!
