Hi family and friends!

Sadly I do not have any videos to share of Estonia since dani and the rest of my squad were in Latvia. But she did capture great shots of Riga and also our time during Leadership Development Weekend (LDW) that I want to pass along to you all — I think you’ll enjoy them very much… And in case you missed my last newsletter about my month in Estonia, you can always read it here!

[DISCLAIMER: Since these are dani’s videos, she has been adding personal dedications for her supporters at the end of each video. So don’t feel bad if you don’t watch to the end!]

RIGA ADVENTURES!

These three videos show some of the sights and attractions that Riga has to offer — from Old Town and Town Hall Square (video #1) and the opera house by the river (video #2) to the cobblestone roads lined with street performers, shops and restaurants (video #3). My new team actually had our first dinner together at the same restaurant that is highlighted in the last video!

LDW IN RIGA!

These next two videos do a fantastic job at recapping what our LDW was like. The first video captures the many meetings and breakout sessions that we had both outside and inside of the church we were staying in, as well as all of the fun games and skits we did as a squad! And the second video shows the revealing of not only our new teams, but also our new Squad Leaders!

Side note: every World Race squad begins their journey with Alumni Squad Leaders — individuals who have done The World Race before. They only lead for the first 5 or 6 months, after which they return home and new Squad Leaders are raised up from the existing squad. Because our two Alumni Squad Leaders were leaving at the end of month 6, our new Raised-up Squad Leaders were announced at this LDW so they could begin their training and transition into their new roles!

Also, there might not be any footage of me in Estonia, but these two videos more than make up for it I think…ENJOY.

I really do wish I had videos to show of my time in Estonia, but unfortunately that is a skill I never quite learned to develop. But parts of Latvia are pretty similar to Estonia (especially the countryside) since they are neighboring countries so I encourage you to watch dani’s videos (link below) of her team’s ministry and see what life is like in this part of the world!

Thanks again for watching and supporting!
