Hello family and friends!
I know many of you have been enjoying the recap videos…but since I was no longer on the same team as dani after Vietnam, there aren’t any videos of the ministry work I did while in Indonesia — or the months after that. But I do want to share the ones that show parts of my journey each month so enjoy the few that I’m in!
Maybe one day I’ll be able to make my own videos of my time in Indonesia and afterwards, but until then just keep reading my newsletters (click here for Indonesia)!

TRAVELING TO INDONESIA!
This video recaps our travel day, continuing from our brief layover in Malaysia to our final destination in Indonesia. This was also the first time that our squad separated into our new teams…which meant a few sad goodbyes at the airport!
BALI FUN!
This video actually shows a little bit of Bali, as dani’s team was able to use their Adventure Days to visit the island! It gives a glimpse into what Kuta Beach is like and some of what I encountered during my time there — like walking thru the alleyways, being bombarded by locals for surf lessons and hair braiding, and watching a sunset on the beach!
TRAVELING OUT OF INDONESIA!
These next few videos capture our experience traveling out of Indonesia — from sleeping at the airport in Jakarta (video #1), which my team was lucky enough to do on both our first and last nights in Indonesia, to our squad reuniting (video #2) and then making our way to Latvia (videos #3 and #4)!
Side note: the second video highlights our Fusion Exposure Participant, Landy! I encourage you to watch and listen to what he had to share about his short experience on The World Race and his encouragement to future Racers!
Oh, and my uncomfortableness at our squad reunion is also highlighted…
And that brings to a close the Asia chapter of my World Race journey. It was an absolute privilege and godsend to start my Race in this part of the world, as it was so familiar to my own upbringing as a Korean-American. I thank God for the many wonderful people and memories He blessed me with thru my travels in Asia!
