When I journal I talk to myself and everyone so yeah.

Y’all,  it’s the little things. The devil has been teaching the world things and we are SO oblivious that we are letting him. They seem so insignificant that we don’t even notice or care. Things like saying “oh my God” or saying “Jesus” when we are annoyed or surprised or even saying  holy crap (which I’m guilty of doing) or saying “I swear to God”. Matthew 5:33-37, Leviticus 19:12, Deuteronomy 6:12-13, Deuteronomy 5:10-11 all say to not use the Lord’s name in vain. Do not swear an oath using the Lord’s name. Yet we do it throughout our day with no conviction or remorse.

We don’t have time for God anymore.  Our lives are too busy but are we saying we have zero time? We use every second of our 24 hour day?  Funny thing is we make time for the things that are important to us. Work,  school, family, Netflix,  the spa,  the store and whatever else fills up our day. We tend to take God for granted and don’t listen or spend time with Him. The Bible tells us that God is the way,  the truth and the light (John 14:6) if your plan is to go to heaven you’re missing your ticket. Good merit,  being nice and “doing good things” don’t get you into heaven (sorry to burst that bubble) the only thing getting you into heaven is Jesus. You can’t bypass Jesus and get into heaven.

This one is a big one that we,  including myself,  are SO guilty of doing. We as Christians are called to make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father,  the son and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19-20).  Yet the world has told us to keep our religion to ourselves,  we are weird if we openly talk about God.  I mean prayer has been taken out of public unchristian places because we’re afraid to be looked at weird. Why do we care? Jesus never did. He was persecuted,  beaten,  shed so much blood,  was tortured and He still openly praised and raised up the name of God. Shadrach,  Meshach and Abednego knew what was to come if they didn’t bow to the king AND THE DIDN’T CARE. How many of you would risk a painful death for God? I know I wouldn’t have. I’m also scared to die but I know I’m not scared to die for God.  We have been conditioned to being scared to die. Don’t you know that God has kept His promise and kept you safe? Plus our reward is not here on earth but in heaven so why do we fear? it’s called doubt. The devil has taught us to doubt God, to not listen to Him and to fear worldly things instead of fearing God. All of this will pass away and all that’ll remain is God.

WAKE UP and see what the devil is doing!!  Put a stop to it. God needs your cooperation, your gifts… He needs you.
