Oh my goodness. In about 6months I’ll be shipping out. How insane is that? I will be out there doing the Lord’s work for almost a full year of my life. I am getting ready fundamentally but mentally, I don’t even want to go there. As amazing as this Missions trip is it’s also pretty terrifying. I am slowly figuring out how the disciples felt when Jesus said to follow Him. It is not an easy thing. Me and my route members are to drop everything, and follow Jesus in to different countries and do so many things such as sharing the gospel, minister to those that have seen the worst of humans and tell them that God has never abandoned them even while they were going through prostitution due to being human trafficked, working in orphanages, helping plant churches and so much more.
So far I have received some amazing support from wonderful people and I’m feeling abundantly blessed. I still have a ways to go but what a blessing to have such wonderful support. Also now when I go to training camp I won’t be so alone. I got the chance to meet 2 of the sweetest girls that will be traveling with me and being my family for the next year starting in August. How exciting!
What’s next? You may be asking, well let me fill you in! I have got to get my vaccinations done, get my gear, make sure I have the right travel clothes, stock up on some stuff ( at least 3-4 months worth) and get ready for training camp in June.
