I wanted to get this blog out before I left, so I guess now is better then ever…
I wanted to take some time and write about what’s after The World Race or at least what I think is after The World Race. I’d like two things to come from this blog. 1. I reminder of what my passions are before this trip and hopefully carry them through. and 2. To be able to look back and see what has changed.
I was inspired to write this blog after being asked multiple times “What are you going to do once you get back from The World Race?” and typically reply “Well I’m sure it will change but I would like too open own a Non-Profit Greenhouse.”
In response they say, “Oh, that’s interesting what is that?”
ess and stuff place, but have it be a Non-Profit Greenhouse. A Greenhouse that has a purpose other than making a profit. I want to use it to teach and help individuals grow. I’d liked to focus on at risk teens and juvenile delinquents. Providing a solid environment for Juvenile delinquents to come and do their community service hours and to gain the knowledge of nurturing something and watching it grow. Also providing at-risk teens a place where they can gain an income while being in a positive working environment that helps instill good values and morals. Then at some point in time provide the product at a lower cost to income families. I truly beleive that the process of caring and growing a plant teaches so much that can be drawn back to the skills used to love in a relationship and to grow a strong family. Also the fact of having a boss that listened and had standards for me to follow has been so beneficial to me so I would want to provide that for other people too.
So there it is! That’s the plan! I hope this year can grow me and stretch me so that I can be the best person to carry out my passions!
