Red Dirt Don’t Hurt
I have sat in more red dirt, slept
in more red dirt, and eaten more red dirt then I have ever with any other dirt
in my life. Well that may be a
slight exaggeration, but it is for sure that red dirt and I have bonded a lot
in the last 5 days. Red dirt you ask, well I’ve been in Northern Georgia since
Saturday training for the next 11 months of my life. It’s been an awesome time
of seeing God move mountains. I’ve seen the spirit in more ways then ever
before, through laughter, tears and joy.
Yesterday we finalized teams for
the year and the 7 of us set out for an adventure in a Toyota Camry. We had an awesome
time intoxicating ourselves with the tastes and smells we haven’t experienced
in a while. The time was also filled
with serious heart felt conversation about how we wanted this next year to look.
It was an awesome time of seeing God’s hand in everything. He’s been good. I’m excited for the next year!

Prayer Requests: Steady mind in getting everything done before I leave. That I will be able to jump right back into camp. and that all details will just fall into place.
Love you all!
Sandy
