About Me Take #3

(Third times a charm
right?)

Hi! My name is Sandy Gaston. I am 21 years old, I’ll be 22
on May 18th. I am currently finishing up my senior year at Gordon College in Wenham MA. When all said and done I’ll have my
degree in Psychology.
I’m from western PA in
a small town called Kennerdell. My family has lived there for most of my
life. That’s my Dad (Howard), Mom
(Donna), Sister (Becca), and brother (John). They are the best family a girl could ever ask for! It is a
bit hard being the oldest and having to grow up before Becca and John do but
I’m sure it will pay off in the end.

This is the roomie
(Marina) and I at a Boston’s Bruins game! Great seats and a great game!! You know when people grow old and they
always talk about their college roommate and all the crazy stuff they did. She’s
that kind of roommate! Lot’s of good stories!

Even
though this was my first hockey game I do like a lot of sports. To participate
in well I love to run. I recently did a triathlon with my Dad and sister, and
we’re planning on another this coming summer. (Note to self: start training). Ok so sports, I would say watching wise
if my brother and sister are playing those are my top choices, I like going to
base ball games and well the last football game I went to I feel asleep, but I do like it. Oh and you can’t
forget intramural sports, I LOVE inner tube water polo. The season hasn’t
started yet but I’m sure I’ll have to blog about that somewhere down the road.

I love anything and everything to do with Landscaping and
yard maintenance, oh and FLOWERS. I have been on the grounds crew all 4 years
at Gordon. Before that I worked to
summers on the summer grounds crew at my high school. You name it I have
probably done it. I’m not
quite sure what it is that I like about it so much, probably has something to
do with loving on God’s creation.
Put me in a garden and I could get lost for days.

This last summer I
worked at Seneca Hills Bible Camp in
western PA. I would have to title that last summer as one of the best summers
of my life. I was a counselor
there, so yeah I just went to camp all summer long and played! It was pretty
great! I met so many awesome
people there and had such an awesome time that this coming summer I’m going
back for more!

Well obviously this is
just a portion of me and my life but it’s a start! I’ll fill you more in, in
the weeks to come! I encourage you
to get update alerts (to the left, just type in your e-mail) so you’ll know when I update and just
check out the site in general if your new to this whole World Race concept.
Feel free to e-mail me ([email protected])
if you have any questions!! Also shortly down the road I’ll have information up
about the ways you can support me on this new adventure in my life!!

Thanks!
Peace and Love,
Sandy
