A Picnic

The first class we sat in on at New Tone was one of the
“oldest classes there they had been studying English for 2 years at New tone
and were all pretty good English speakers. They had class on Tuesday and
Thursday at 5 pm and each Tuesday and Thursday we would sit in with them for a
whole hour, we would talk, the teacher would ask us random questions, and one
class we even played UNO for the whole class. They were a lot of fun and it was
awesome to get to know him. One
night after class we asked if we could hang out with them. So they took us for
a walk around the city. They had everything planned out and put a lot of
thought in time to making sure we had a good time! It was so nice of them. Also Ukrainian men are such gentlemen,
holding doors, paying for buses, and escorting us ladies across streets.

We thought we would return the favor and have them over for dinner
the following Monday. They couldn’t come in the evening so they said they
wanted to take us on a picnic. And on a picnic we went. It started at 12 and
ended around 6pm.

It was pretty much the whole class came, plus or minus one or
two. We walked out to a park and while the ladies made salads, the guys started
a fire for tea and roasting sausages. Afterwords we taught them ninja-ninja
then played with a volleyball for awhile. Then they walked us back to our
apartment. It was an awesome and very long day with a lot of laughs and
memories made!

So to all of you New Toners! Thanks for a great couple of
weeks! You guys are awesome keep working hard at that English and let me know
if you ever come to the states!

To my faithful readers and supporters! Thanks for reading!!
