So in my last blog I mentioned two people…. the guy who worked at Autozone, and another person…. here is the 2nd π
This is Julian π He works at a Starbucks where we had our last few days of training before heading to Belize. As I mentioned in my blog ‘Taking Time’ I had been really busy, even during training because there was so much to learn and go over. So I was at the point where I told God after a session in the night “I need to spend time with you…” So I tried to find a place where I could be alone and spend time with Him. I sat down and before I could open the Bible or listen to a song, I felt that God was putting on my heart to go to the Starbucks right behind me and order a drink. I wasn’t craving a drink at that time, but I figured I should go anyways. So I headed there and as soon as I got to the counter, before I could say a word, Julian started asking me questions about the missions trip – like ‘am I excited, where am I going, etc’ I was blessed and it was so cool that he was willing to talk to me to that much, and I think I actually needed that. He handed me my chamomile tea and I said, “thank you very much, have a great night.” Or something like that. But as I was speaking to him I noticed his forehead was super sweaty, and I had remembered all those fresh handkerchiefs I had in my bag. So I sat down my drink and went to the side to pull one out and then offered it to him. A smile rose and he was very appreciative and thankful π said our goodbyes again. The next night I went over again to get another chamomile tea and I asked if it would be ok to take a picture with him and post it on my blog and he agreed. Thank you Julian for being so kind and having such amazing customer service! π Thank you Jesus for leading me to Julian to bless him and using that as an encouragement to me to start this new category of blogs π
