You know, a lot times we have an idea of how WE think things are going to go – and usually in our heads everything goes pretty smooth right? π hahaha. But we all know it doesn’t work out that way… I think we’ve all heard it said that whenever someone does or is about to do something for the Lord there will be difficulty, there will be opposition, delays, attacks, etc. Right now I am caught in the middle of some delays… and I must admit it really is testing my patience, hahaha. The Lord has done some amazing things up to this point and everyone I know is super excited and willing to support me, so I think it’s so crazy how the enemy can use just a few delays to cause even a little bit of doubts. I know I may be taking a potential risk in admitting that doubts have come to mind when many of you have been willing to support me, but the point of even writing blogs is to invite you into my journey…. not just during the missions, but everything leading up to it. I would be a liar, and robbing you of the truth if I said that having faith in the Lord was easy and just left out any mention of hardships – the reality of spiritual warfare and the rough times needed for spiritual growth and strength. If you are planning or even considering doing something that God has for you, do not get discouraged – abide in Jesus π challenges will come, as I am learning, but God is good all the time, and all the time God is good π just be patient, and trust Him…. π Praise God for His peace and faithfulness. I hope you all have had a blessed Christmas, and have a Happy New Years! π Keep me in prayer. Will post another blog again soon π
