In these past few weeks, God has been revealing to me and teaching me a whole LOT in this whole process of getting ready for this missions trip. Things relating to how to properly use what God gives you and how to go about different things, things about myself I didn’t realize, doubts that I’ve had about my own heart in different things, answering questions, and really helping me to give everything and my whole day – my will over to Him and let Him do what He wants (Which is ALWAYS the best thing to do!) He has been giving me a greater depth of understanding to verses in the Bible that I have read, heard, and even shared countless times.
*Short version is that He has given me answers, cleared things up, strengthened my faith, and has given me guidance and direction. I wish I could share every detail of what has been happening, but this blog would take forever to read!
If there is one thing I can share from all of this is that God KNOWS you… God knows every detail of your current circumstances and your worries… God knows you so well, that if you ever start to question your own heart He will let you know where it is truly at 🙂 (Because He knows you better than you do) If you are unsure of anything, please memorize and believe this verse!
Philippians 4:6-7
”Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Ask God about all things, and trust Him when He is silent and doesn’t answer right away.. He WILL make things clear and work things out. Trust in His goodness, His love, His grace, His sovereignty and timing in the mean time 🙂 *In some cases, no answer IS an answer – Depending on what you are asking and how.
