As of know I am sitting at $603 dollars away from being fully funded. Which is incredible to think that it took roughly only 9 months to get to this point. Honestly fundraising was a big worry for me coming into the race. I would have never thought that I could raise close to $16,000. I almost didn’t go on the race because of it.
But the lord is so faithful and he is so so good. He is such a provider. He works in ways that seem almost humorous and at some points definitely can be. What I didn’t think would help with fundraising at all, ended up helping the most. This whole experience has really humbled me because it made me realize how much I actually need to rely and trust in the Lord.
It’s funny because at launch we had the option to buy a key with a word on it for us to focus on this year. And my word that I got just so happens to be trust. I still haven’t fully figured out what that means but for right now it’s seems like it was just that. To trust more in the Lord.
