The Lord had me write this in my quiet time after reading Jeremiah 19.

Jeremiah 19:10-11

“Then you shall break the flask in the sight of the men who go with you, and shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: So will I break this people and this city, as one breaks a Potter’s vessel, so that it can never be mended’”

The Broken Flask-

Can never be mended to its original state. We were broken flasks- never to be put together again. Broken by sin. Broken by the unintended world with this unintended life. Made to think we had no hope. But God. Knowing we would reject, sent Jesus. Knowing that injustice would flood the world and drown all those who tried to fight it. Knowing the breath he breathed into us would be the very breath used to mock Him. Knowing the life traded would be given to the mockers and accusers. But still, He made a me covenant declaring that all who were broken can be made while. You see, everything seemed backwards to us because we only saw the smaller picture. We didn’t see that in three days, the picture would really be backwards. The cross meant to kill became the vessel used to bring saving and healing. As the broken flask we could come to be made while. We could be called holy, pure, and redeemed. The picture, in our eyes shifted but for God, all along this is what was intended.
