So this week has been fun…but hard, we went to schools and talked to high school students about America and invited them to English school. That English school started this week and today was our first class.
It was weird to teach English and think
” what qualifications do i have to teach english? Oh I know, I speak English.” But as I know and would learn to be true, God does not call the qualified He qualifies the called.
But this week isn’t just about teaching, it’s about building relationships, and I met a few really awesome people like this guy who is a boxer and won 2nd place in the Ukrainian nationals. He was a very nice guy. We talked about fighting for a long time, I reminded me about how much I miss taekwondo, but it also showed me the kinda of relationships we are building here. During our talk he told me how excited he was to be there and how he didn’t want to leave.
Before this I was worried about how to teach English, and why I still am, now I reading fight for it. I can’t wait for tomorrow, I’m going to fight for this class. And I’m ready to fight for Gods plan this next 8 months.
