I sat at home and thought, “what should my first blog post be about?”, maybe I should write about Fear, or maybe about my favorite bible verse?, But then I finally decided on my first blog post being just that, my first post, I hope to fill this blog with my adventures from around the world. Making post from Chile about the views, or from India and the killer humidity. But none of this will happen unless I can raise the necessary funds for my trip, you see I put all the faith in God, which I believe was the right choice, the wrong choice was assuming God would do it without me even trying. Now I find myself one month away from my first deadline with a whole lot of funds left to raise, but I believe that this is the route God has for me, and I KNOW he will bring the money. That’s where you come in, I’ve never been comfortable asking for money, I just picture people reading this and thinking, “why should I help you”, or ,“who are you, asking me for money”. I have been asked for donations before and never has a thought come in my head like that, and I realized that it won’t be any different for me. Though I am still uncomfortable asking for donations, I know I must do what I have to do, and I know God will be with me every step.

Now I bet your wondering what I will be doing? I will be going to 5 countries over the course of 9 months. Romania, Ukraine, Chile, Peru, and India. While on my journey I will be doing mission work, from running a VBS, to talking and praying with people, spreading Gods word. To have this chance to see the world Is one of the best things to happen to me, and I can’t wait to share it with all my friends and family.

To go on the World Race Gap Year, I must raise a total of $14,951, and my first dead line is one month away and I must raise $5,000 to attend Gap Year. This will not be easy, but I know with God’s help I will make it.
