I want you to meet Kendall, Keia, Courtney, and Brooke. This is my team. We are the seekers. I know you’ve seen pictures of all of us together, but you don’t really know anything about them. These girls are my sisters. They constantly pour into me, lift me up, and always have my back. I want to tell you about each of them individually.

Kendall is the one with short brown hair. She is such a genuine, kind, loving, passionate, caring, and generous person. She has a heart so big if it were tangible, it would be bigger than Texas. She constantly is lifting me up and telling me how beautiful I am and how kind I am, and I couldn’t appreciate her more. Her constant encouragement is something that has honestly helped me a lot with my self-esteem. It hasn’t ever been a huge problem, but Kendall makes me feel so much worthier than how I viewed myself. I am enough, and she tells me that every day. Kendall also has such an amazing voice. Seeing her be so passionate about worship has really inspired me to be more intentional when I worship. She has such a special place in my heart, and that won’t ever change.

Keia is the blonde one. She is a powerful, patient, kind, generous person. She is such a strong leader and doesn’t make you feel looked down upon. Keia has a side of her that nobody really sees unless you really know her. She is so funny and so full of life. Keia journals and reads her Bible every day multiple times a day. It is so cool to have a person like this to look up to. The way she seeks after the Lord is something I strive to do as well. Her journal is so colorful and artistic and it’s so cool that’s how she expresses her feelings to the Lord. Keia is always there when I need some wisdom and that is something really important to have. I love Keia.

Courtney is the one who loves green and has the long brown hair. She is a ball of joy all the time. She is so positive, kind, friendly, funny, crazy, and loving. Courtney has become like my little sister. We butt heads sometimes but that’s just what sisters do. I love having her by my side every waking moment. Actually, we sleep right next to each other here in Zimbabwe. She is someone I can go to if I need some uplifting. She always has the right words to say even if she doesn’t know what to say. She lets the Lord speak through her like no other. She lights up whatever room she is about to walk no matter what her attitude may be. Courtney is someone that I don’t think I could live without now that she is in my life.

Brooke is the one with glasses and longer brown hair. I don’t even know where to begin with Brooke. She is so funny, caring, wise, and compassionate. Brooke didn’t let us see this wild side of her until mid-Nepal. If she opens her mouth you know it is going to be funny. I never thought me and Brooke would have such similar qualities, but we both laugh at the same things, think the same things, and can just finish each other’s sentences. Brooke is so full of sass and fun and I love being around her. Brooke can also pour out wisdom. It has been so awesome getting to know her and peel her layers back layer by layer. Brooke can never not make me laugh with whatever she’s doing, and I really admire that about her. I am so grateful to have someone like her.

Well, that is the seekers. We are a fun bunch. We step on each other’s toes. We snuggle together (sometimes). We laugh together. We cry together. We love well together. I couldn’t imagine my race without them.

PLEASE be praying for my team!!! One of our other team members just went home due to some personal issues, so we have been dealing with that for a little while. Just be praying for unity amongst us and that her transition home would be full of peace.

Thank you for reading, and I’ll see you in my next blog!
