I did not grow up listening to worship music outside of church. It actually took me a long time to enjoy worship music. The song below we sang at training camp during worship and I loved every second of it. This song spoke to my soul, it sparked something inside of me.

“All Your Promises are Yes and Amen!”

Those lyrics are pure truth. I look at the experiences I’ve had and at my life now and God fulfills all of his promises. He knows my heart better than I do and his plans trump all.

If last year at this time you told me I would be going on the World Race I would have laughed. Service and experiencing other cultures are two of my passions, but at that time I was stubborn in my ways. I was trying to force the plans I had for my life to happen. I laugh at this now because I look back and I was trying to climb Mount Everest with an avalanche coming down on me. I could never make my plans happen.

However, once I started listening for God’s voice he uncovered the most miraculous plans for my life! Where I am now I wouldn’t change for the world. I have the most joy I have ever experienced and that is because God and I have a two way relationship. I trust in Him.

I see His hands in each breath and step I take.
