I am trying to post a new blog post every couple of weeks – not sure I’m doing too good, but I’m working on it!
Anywaysssss
I am so excited & overjoyed to be going on the World Race!!!! I have been getting to know my squad mates lately & just talking about everything we are nervous about, excited for, & looking forward to.
There are 24 wonderful wonderful people on my squad already & as each day passes more people get added & the excitement continues to build!!!
Today I found out that my squad & I will be be spending 1 month in Romania, 1 month in Ukraine, 2 months in Chile, 2 months in Peru & 3 months in India!!! If you know me then you know I am stoked about all the countries I am going to, but I am seriously so so excited we get to spend 3 whole months in India!!! I love Indian food & the beautiful clothing & colors of the country. I am thanking God a little extra for the sweet blessing of staying there the longest of the 5 countries.
Another thing I wanted to touch base on is fundraising.
Im going to be real – fundraising has been a little tough lately. I have felt unmotivated & just unsure of what my next step are & how else I want to go about raising money. But none the less I know the Lord will provide. He has a plan. I have raised about $2,700 this far which puts me at about 17% – that being said I still have t-shirts available & I still looking for people who want to take some numbers off my board (on my Facebook page) as well!!
God has already reassured me that the race is where He wants me to be so I know crazy things are going to happen & everything will fall in place for me to launch in September!
I do ask for prayers for me & my squad & we raise money, mentally & physically train for the 9 months ahead.
I really couldn’t do any of this without YOU.
