Hey everyone,
i just wanted to give an update on some things going on in my life, fundraising & how I feel about the race being so close!
First, I am approaching my last days as a nanny. I have taken a new position as a Patient Care Tech at Glenoaks Hospital. I took this job because ultimately it supplies me with a better income before I leave for the race. I am hoping to save up a bit before I leave in September! I’m super excited & blessed to have gotten this job. I prayed about it a lot & God delivered the perfect fit for me! Another thing I have been doing recently is getting rid of old clothes that I won’t need for the race/I’ll never wear again. I have packed up all my winter clothes, because I won’t be needing them next year which is crazy!!!! Lots is changing, but it’s super exciting & refreshing to be moving into a brand new chapter!
Second, I AM 50% FUNDED!!!! How exciting!!!!!! I can’t thank you all enough for your love & support this far! I am still selling awesome, colorful & unique brac so ask me about them!!! They help support not only my World Race trip, but it helps support families in the Philippines who actually hand made them!!!
Last, but not least… I am seriously getting SO excited for training camp & launch!!!
I cant wait to meet all my squad mates & do life with them for 9 months!! I am really confident that we will all feel like family in no time!
As of now I am working on getting everything I still need to equip me properly for the months ahead!
I still cannot believe is less than 5 months I will be living with 50 other people in Europe!
IT’S BECOMING SO REAL!!!!!
Of course I will be blogging as much as possible while I’m away so I hope you all stay tuned for the adventures to come!!!!
