So during month 2 in Mendoza we had an amazing ALL SQUAD month!
This is what a day consisted of…
Waking up to a room full of 25 girls every morning, then I proceeded to brush my teeth and head to breakfast.
At breakfast we usually had bread, lots and lots of bread. But you all know that I can’t eat bread so I usually ate rice cakes with peach jelly. Peach jelly is a BIG thing in Argentina and it’s the only one we ate! Weird huh?
Next I proceeded to have my quiet time with the Lord. It was usually in my hammock in the heart of eno village!
Next we would have team time, some days it was a half hour and others it could last three hours. This team time we wrote affirmations for each teammate for that month. We wrote about what they have grown in and the good fruits we have seen in each other.
Lunch was later… with these crazy cats aka my whole squad of 50 people every single day!
We took the bus during our month in Argentina, it was about an hour to the city center!
During this month our ministry was whatever our host (YWAM) needed for the day. This particular day my team and I went to a church and shared a message, testimonies, intercession. We also got to hang out with youth of the church and get to know them a little bit!
It was a very fun time as I got to listen to my teammates preach and give there testimonies. During the prayer hour the Lord worked so clearly and I got to pray over multiple people. It was a very powerful night.
After the meeting we ate more food… in Argentina they call it Once! And it usually doesn’t start until after 10 o’clock at night… so we ate more. My teammate Tiffany and I have allergies, so we get special meals everywhere we go.
We also take any transportation we can get on the World Race… and this transportation happened to be a big old beat up van with small futons in it that replaced the seats. It was super cool! It looked like a hippie party bus!
So here’s what the day looked like! Month 3 in Bolivia has started… stay tuned for updates on my last month in South America!!
