8 things I LOVE about the Race!
1. Community-This has been an amazing blessing. The friends I have made on the Race are so kind and loving towards me, they show me how to have fun, love like Jesus and pursue each other like brothers and sisters.
2. Traveling– I love traveling to new countries and experiencing the culture. It’s so cool that on the Race we legit get to live with natives in each country. Such a cool experience.
3. Prayer-I love the way that prayer is an all the time thing, sometimes intense thunder prayers and sometimes small prayers. Like “Jesus get us over this bump on the road” haha
4. Food– Oh my the food has been a fun journey. But I love tasting all the new foods, my taste buds have for sure expanded. And the food in Asia will forever be my favvv
5. Flying-Oh my I love to fly, I think airports are exhilarating. People watching is eye-opening and flying in a plane is one of my favorite things to do!
6. People-I Love meeting new people around the world and having friends in other countries. It’s such an awesome blessing to know people all over and to learn more about them, their culture and have fun together!
7. Trying new things-Whether it be tasting a bug in Asia, playing a guitar for the first time, traditional dancing in Africa or using a squatty potty. I love that I get to try new things and experience them all!
8. Adventure dayzzz– I have gotten to adventure in a few countries and do some cool things. From bathing with elephants, to hiking a snowy mountain and swimming in hot springs. The adventures have been a cool perk of off days!
These are just a few things that I have loved on the Race. I have loved a lot of this year! But some of these things have been my favorite experiences!
