For this blog post I will be writing about my big brother Trevor.
Trevor is 20 years old and lives in New York. Trevor was way different then I expected when I met him, he is not exactly what I thought most New Yorkers were like. He has a huge beard and is the biggest huntsman I have ever met. He knows everything about guns and animals. Definitely a good man to have along when you are traveling around the world.
The past 4 months for Trevor has been a great time of spiritual growth and development. He has been forced to work through a lot of tough stuff from his past. One of the things Trevor tells all of the guys is how grateful he is for the band of brothers we have. It’s not something he has ever really had. Community has been of vital importance to his walk of faith.
I want to share 3 things that Trevor does well and I have learned from. First, Trevor is so quick to forgive and let things go, that is a great characteristic of a Godly man. Secondly, Trevor has an amazing protective spirit for all of the girls with us. He is usually willing to sacrifice his time to go with the girls and help them to feel more secure. Thirdly, Trevor’s honesty is incredible. I have seen him tell the truth in uncomfortable situations numerous times. He keeps his promises even when it hurts, the Bible talks a lot about that. I am blessed to have Trevor with me on this journey. He is an amazing guy who I love a lot. Please pray that he keeps growing and pursuing Christ for the rest of his life.
