The past month and a half has been spent working at a small Christian school called New Hope teaching English. When we arrived, we met Chanthy and Sarith. Sarith is the founder of the school, and Chanthy is his niece.
She is strong. She chose to come work with Sarith solely because she believed that God was going to use it.
She is compassionate. She loves the children at the school and is willing to any and everything for them. I’ve never seen her upset or frustrated with us or any of the students.
She is brilliant. She studies English at a university 5 days a week, just to learn more English.
She’s hilarious. She makes jokes all of the time & she always has a smile on her face.
She has taught me how to love unconditionally. to fight for others. to dream big. to listen and trust the Lord always.
Chanthy is one of the best people I’ve ever met & I wish you could meet her.
