So, our God is so good. 🙂 Ha. That’s such an understatement. He has been teaching me so much about who I am. Ha. This is something that I thought I understood. Truly. I went through the discipleship school at Waypoint and the Lord revealed so much of my daughter-hood to me through that class…that I thought I got it.
Well, He is taking those revelations to such deeper levels. He is teaching me what exactly it means to be His daughter. The authority I hold, the love He has for me, the power in my voice, and so on.
Two books in the Bible have been especially impacting…Galatians and Ephesians, so, I’m just going to go through the scriptures in these two books and write everything it says about who I am…about who YOU are.
Alright, be ready to receive—because this is big stuff!
Who I am in Christ

Who I am in Christ
Ephesians

*Saved through faith (2:8)
*His workmanship (a design produce by an artisan) (2:10)
*I was created for good works which were prepared for me (2:10)
*Brought near to the love and promises of God (2:13)
*Reconciled to God (2:16)

*An heir to God, partakers of His promise (3:6)
*Loved so…sooo…much (3:17-19)
*A child of light (5:8)
Well, that’s just a taste. I’m sure I’ve missed so much. But that is just the beginning of what the Word of God says about who we are once we have been adopted into His family.
We have been adopted into the household of God! We are co-heirs with Christ!
…has that sunk in?
We are seated in the heavenly places next to Christ. God loves us as much as He loves Christ. Because of what Jesus did for us, we have are in right standing and right relationship with God. We are His children. We are infinitely loved and free from the law.
We are free from the law! The law cannot do anything for us anymore. We are free from sin, clean, new…unpunishable!
Amen!
Thank you Papa! Thank you for taking me in! Thank you for loving and pursuing me so much, though I ran away and rejected You, You sought after me and made me clean. Thank you for the freedom and the abundance of life You offer us as Your children! May this revelation be rooted deeper and deeper into my heart and into the hearts of my brothers and sisters! Praise you Papa!
