Hello my friends. Praise Jesus.
So it’s getting closer and closer to September. only about six more weeks and I embark on this crazy journey.
I leave Saturday morning for training camp–which is pretty exciting. This will be the first time the whole team will be together, we get to meet each other, learn about our adventure and begin getting equipped for the year in front of us. If you think about it, be praying for us. Whenever the Kingdom is being advanced, the enemy fights (and he tends to fight dirty).
This past week has been a tough one, and i’m not really sure how to explain it. I can’t pin point one or two things that have caused it to be bad, but it’s been tough. I haven’t been sleeping well at all, and have been having really weird dreams…not sure what that’s all about, but because of my lack of sleep i definitely have not been my normal self. please be praying for me.
A little update, I received another $480 which brings my grand total in my account to $9,050. Which is incredible, but i still need $5,450. There are also a few things i need here like shots, malaria medicine, and a few supplies. I did a “target list” at Target and registered for the little things that i need to purchase before i leave…soooo…if you were wondering what kind of stuff i still need, you can go to any target and type in my name in the computer thing at customer service and the registry will come up.
Thank you guys for being so great–this is a crazy season in my life. i’ve never prepared for anything quite like this. I mean, how do I? i don’t know. I’m trying to figure it out…
