i’m in the omaha airport…waiting to leave for TRAINING CAMP!! i’m finally feeling excited…last night was quite the ordeal, trying to get everything packed into my pack…and this is only a week long. i can not imagine packing for the year.
but yes…the adventure has begun. approximately 4:45am. i’ve never seen omaha’s airport busier than it is right now (at 4:45 am). it’s because of the special olympics that were held in lincoln.
anyway…thank you all for your continued prayers and support…please be praying for me and my teammates over the week…none of us really know what to expect, aside from the Lord showing up big time. pray for safe travels, ease of nerves, and quick bonding with what will soon be my family.
i praise you Jesus for this journey, for this beautiful adventure you decided to take me on. thank you for reminding me so gently that this is your trip. this trip is for you and about you and none of it is for or about me. thank you for seeing in me qualities that you want to share with your children around the world. i’m honored and humbled at the same time. you’re so good Lord. i can’t even get my mind around it.
