so…i wanted to update you all since writing the last post. i was having a slight heart attack over sending in the $1880 in cash that i’ve received thus far in fundraising…but i really felt that the Lord was leading me to do so and well…
that day there was about $800 from various people sent into my account, but the following days/weeks…i received a $1000 donation from my church, a donation from a couple that i have never talked to about this trip and then $1600(!!!) from my parents. that, added to what was already in my account and the $1880 that is now in my account brings me to a wonderful total of…
$8,570.20
that’s enough to launch in september!!! and i’m still in omaha for about six more weeks.
sooo…just an encouragement that the Lord knows what He’s doing. He’s so good and soo faithful and soo true to His word and He never sets us up to fail. never ever ever does He put us in a situation just to giggle at our efforts. He loves us…He loves our obedience and He honors our steps of faith.
So…regardless of how painful that step of faith may seem…take it! jump in! seriously… it’s infinately worth it.
oh i love my God! praise you Jesus! Praise you my Father God! Thank you for your goodness, I pray blessings onto everyone who has sown into this ministry, everyone who has taken a step of faith and given to this crazy adventure you’re leading me into. Lord, multiply everything they have given tenfold, just as your word promises. teach your children about your provision, Lord, may none of them be in lack, but instead be exuberantly provided for!
and Lord, as for myself :)…aww…captivate me more and more. Lord let me eyes seek no other lover. let no distraction come into my life. my whole heart, my mind and my soul are yours Lord. Remind me of that :). Praise you Jesus for your loving patience with me. You are soo good to me. Providing every detail…every detail… forgive me for forgetting.
Lead me through these next couple weeks Lord. hold my hand. keep me closer than ever before, because i need you. i need you soo close Lord. I can’t take a step without you behind me. you are everything Lord. Praise you Jesus! thank you Jesus! I can’t say it enough. You are soo good to me. i love you papa.
