Dear Family and Friends,
My team and I just received our ministry location and assignment for Month 11, our final month of the Race. I am beyond excited and asking for lots of prayer as we enter into the home stretch.
Next month my team and I will be working in a village just outside of Lviv, Ukraine, a mere hour from the Poland border, where we will be working with Blessing Ministry. According to the information we have been given, they have ministry assignments with gardening, a huge passion of mine (The Green Gospel), and with college students, young women also being a tremendous passion of mine (The Bars Too Low). However to top it all off, Mark and Rhonda Blessing, the founders and directors of Blessing Ministry have a tremendous passion for pursuing the Jewish population in and around Lviv, Ukraine in hopes that they will come to know their Messiah, Yeshua. Whether you know me personally or have read my blogs (Jew in the Pew) this hits very close to home, and I praise the LORD that He would place this opportunity at my feet month 11.
Just when I am feeling exhausted, completely drained and ready to go home, He has given me exactly what I believe I need, a ministry I can be incredibly passionate about, one where my ancestry, my passions and my testimony can be useful and impactful. I am so grateful for this opportunity and so incredibly humbled that He would paint such a perfect picture for me to end my Race on.
This is where you all come in. According to everything this ministry believes in and works for, this could be another incredibly powerful month. However, that is only if I am able to truly take advantage of it (which is easier said than done). The exhaustion of the World Race life has been really creeping in these last couple of months, the impending return home can easily over take the mind, and the motivation to completely dive into ministry can fade. I am asking that you help me pray against all of these things.
I see very clearly what the Lord is doing here, and the opportunity that He has placed in front of me. I want to take full advantage of everything He has for my team and I, and I don’t want the enemy to have a single foothold in that. Please lift up my team and I as we enter this final month. Our aim has been to make every month better than the last, and that goes for Month 11 as well. Please pray that I will have the energy, motivation and obedience to follow Him each morning, and squeeze out every last drop of our time in Ukraine. I believe the Lord has granted me the opportunity to truly end with a bang, and I’m humbly requesting your help to do so.
This year has been by far the most challenging, encouraging, difficult, eye-opening, life-changing year of my life and with one month left, I want to end it strong.
Thank you again, each and every one of you, for all of your support, prayers and comments. The feedback, the emails, the notes here and there, have done far more for me in this season than you will ever know. Truly thank you from the bottom of my heart!
