Dear Month-Eleven Samara,
I know I’ve had a hard time writing this letter. Quite frankly, for the longest time I had no idea who you were. Although there still remains a lot to the unknown, I’ve received little glimpses of your character, and I can’t wait to meet you.
You are an unoffendable woman. Your identity is so deeply rooted in the Lord, and your validation comes from Him, and Him alone. Comments and offenses that are shot out of wounded hearts do not penetrate you, but are instead reciprocated with honest love and grace.
You love your neighbor as yourself. This is the mantra by which you live. You show absolute grace to those around you, because Jesus poured out the greatest amount of grace upon you. You love those around you in the highest capacity. Especially those who are difficult to love; those who fight with you, those who may disagree with you, those who try to hurt you, those who try to devalue you, you find the best in each and every one of them, and you love them as the Lord loves His children.
You are a giver, you serve, because you were made in God’s image and He is the ultimate giver, and Jesus is the ultimate servant. You are a host, you are hospitable. You are a safe haven to those around you. You are trust worthy and you help to instill value and honor in others through the Lord. You are honest, and you hold people accountable, you call out greatness in everyone around you, because that’s what the Lord see’s, and that’s what they deserve. You are a woman of dignity, honor, love and grace.
You are a prayer warrior for the Kingdom. There is tremendous value in your words, and you walk boldly in the power of the Lord. Jesus has given you full authority; you know it and you live out that authority on a daily basis. You are not afraid to take risks for the Kingdom, you are not afraid to fail, for the Word is truth, and the Lord brings about redemption, and His promises are good.
You have peace beyond understand, and great patience. You live in the present. You may plan for the future, but your focus and attention remains in the today. You are slow to speak and quick to listen, you do not talk over people, but instead greatly value their words and opinions. You are a lion; you have a great tenacity and hunger for the growth of the Kingdom. However, you possess a soft roar, a roar that does not scare, but instills comfort and protection. Your roar is more powerful because it is employed with only the greatest of care and intentionality. You are a radical tool for the Kingdom because of the great skills the Lord has woven into you.
You are a powerful, loving daughter of the God Most High, and I am proud of you.
Love,
Month-Two Samara
