Financial Update
I would like to thank everyone who has so faithfully contributed with their prayers and financial donations. Right now there is $2,570 in my account for received donations and another $3,110 in pledges for a current total of $5,680!! That is about 1/3 of the way to my goal. Praise the Lord for what great things He will be doing through your contributions. I am SO thankful for the opportunity to be a part of this ministry with your support. KEEP THE FAITH!!
I was reading a few blogs earlier
this week from other people currently on the trip and those preparing to leave in October. It’s comforting to know that I’m not the only one overwhelmed the by the amount of funds that need to be raised prior to departure as well as the short period of time available to do so. There are several other World Racers who have expressed a struggle with trusting that God will provide, but there are many incredible stories out there about how He has provided. These stories have truly been encouraging and a good reminder that I can’t do anything on my own strength, but that I must rely fully on God’s strength as He is my Provider.I can’t tell you how many stories I read about people who had very little money or literally $0 in their account only days before departure, yet God fully provided for them. The struggle is that we want God to provide on our time schedule. He is never late, but His timing can really be a test of our faith. I am uplifted and encouraged this week that only one month after beginning to send out support letters, that God is already providing. Praise the Lord!!
