I have gone from village to village, yet nothing looks the same.  In the past two weeks, I have gone from walking two hours to a village wedding to walking one hour to a coffee shop with internet.  Oh… how so much has changed and yet it has not.  Walking still remains the main form of transport as I expect it will until I return home to the United States.  I recently left rural Zambia simply to head back to South Africa and then to turn around and board a plane to Romania.  While the village in Afica was huts and dirt for miles on the horizon, rural Romania has a different look and feel.   I must say it is so nice to be back in Europe.  I enjoy the culture, the people, the scenery and the food.  It is incredibly mountainous, beautiful, and quaint.  I hope to post pictures next time I get online.

My team and whole squad has come to Ville Tecii, Romania.  We are here in a gypsy village ministering to… gypsies.  We have partnered with an American man who lives here and is married to a gypsy woman along with a local Christian gypsy pastor.  My team and one other team are living with Pastor Sandu and his family.  In addition to pouring into him and his family, we are reaching out to the community and sharing Jesus with them through home visits, church services, childrens programs, womens programs, Bible studies, bonfires, and walking worship up and down the main street of the village.

We have been here less than a week and I absolutely love it.  I can see that this, like many other places this year, will be a difficult place to leave. I can’t wait to share pictures and stories with you of what God is doing in this village…. coming soon!
