My name is Samantha Limon, but all of my friends call me Sam so you can call me that and we shall officially be friends! I was born in California, but grew up here in South Texas AKA basically Mexico. I live with both of my parents and one of my two brothers. I was going to school to pursue a degree in Education at The University of Texas – Pan American, but clearly that’ll be put on pause as I serve and tell people about the awesome love of Jesus around the world. I serve at my awesome church on our Check-In/Event Registration Team where I get to interact with a lot of our volunteers and members of our church interested in growing and learning more about God! I also just recently got assigned to be a leader (I’m still kind of in training) in our young adults Bible Study so that’s been fun! It’s going to allow me to actually pour into other people my age and share what I’ve learned about God while also growing myself.
Random facts? I love swings (Love. Them.) and drawing random doodles. I’ve also discovered a recent love of running. I’ve been eating healthy, but if I eat something bad, it will either be stuffed crust pizza, glazed donuts, or bread. Go big or go home, right? I was in choir for six years of my life, but you’ll never hear me sing in public. I love all colors, but my favorites are blue, green, and purple. I like things to be organized and I think lists are fun. You will find that I use the words “so” and “fun” far too often and I also move my hands a lot when I speak.
