During my time at El Shaddai last month, I fell in love with a little boy named Jaden. He is 7 years old and in first grade. He is full of life and enjoys playing soccer and drawing. He struggles in school, but has the desire to learn. He has experienced several failed adoptions and physical abuse. Jaden was rescued from a bad halfway house and without the love and provision of Jesus through El Shaddai Ministries (ESM), this better life would not have been possible for him.
It is evident that Our Heavenly Father is passionately pursuing him, and El Shaddai Children’s home is serving as a safe haven for him and others who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected. Serving with this ministry, I have heard countless stories of God’s redemptive grace in the lives of these children who now have the opportunity to live, learn, and grow in a safe and loving environment.
Because of God’s faithfulness to this ministry through the support of sponsors and donors all over the world, ESM has been able to provide these children with hot meals, baths, beds, and the closest thing to family that they have ever known. The stories behind God’s provision for ESM is nothing short of miraculous.
The entire cost of living for one child at El Shaddai Children’s Home is $100 per month. This includes food, shelter, education, clothing, medical care, and caretakers. Because of the special relationship that I have formed with Jaden, I am now advocating for him to have a long term sponsor so that he can continue to receive what he needs to live a healthy and happy life. So, family and friends, please prayerfully consider the privilege of being the support that Jaden needs.
