of you have asked… how does this World Race thing work? Who is going with you?
Will you be alone? Are you in a group? Where are you going? … and the list of
questions goes on.
This
particular blog is to give YOU clarity…or… at least a few answers to your
questions. 🙂
If
you know me, you know I LOVE bullet points. So. This will be
another bullet-point blog.
- Launch: September 13th 8pm from LAX [please start
singing Party in the USA – watch here!].
- Numbers: roughly 80 people will launch in September.
- The breakdown: these 80ish people are
broken into two squads – Q
& R.
- My Squad: I am in Q-Squad
with 38 other hooligans.[Q-SQUAAAAAAAAAD!]
- Squad Leaders: Two AMAZING human beings, Tiffany Berkowitz & Patrick
Baez. – these two have been on the race before & will be leading us the
first 4 months of our trip.
- Squad Coaches: [aka Mom & Dad] Jay & Denise Heesch
- Teams: Q-Squad is broken up into 6 teams of 6 or 7 people.
- My Team: Peace Love Jesus! [they have their own blog – read it here]
- Route: Currently, this is our route… HOWEVER. It is subject to
change. And change. And change again. I think that’s fun. 🙂
