After careful consideration and much thought, I’ve decided to write a letter. HOWEVER. I have no idea to whom I should address this letter. Should I address it to my parents? All the parents of The Q? To the AIM staff? To my church family? To all my campers who prayed for me? To Christy & Andria for selling hundreds of bracelets for me? hmm… let’s go with this…

To whom it may concern:

Thank you.
Thank you for your support.
Thank you for your love.
Thank you for reading this blog.
Thank you for cheering me on.
Thank you for raising a wonderful son or daughter who ended up on The Q.
Thank you for your prayers.
Thank you for…everything.

I want to thank everyone who played a role (big or small) in making this World Race journey happen for me.

This includes Kelsie’s parents who comment on Sarah’s blogs — because of their encouragement for her, she was able to complete this race. Sarah & I shared 8 of the 11 months together. Oh. & they did a preeeeetty good job raising Kelsie as well. The Funks definitely impacted my life.

* Kelsie & Sarah in Malaysia *

This includes Opal from MCC. What an amazing prayer warrior she has been for me. I can never thank her enough for the love & support she has shown me this year.

This includes Allison Johnston & all the other AIM staff for believing in us and cheering us through the hardest of times.

This includes all of the Q, Jay & Denise, Patrick & Tiffany…

I wish I could thank each & every person who in some way, shape, or form supported me throughout this year. HOWEVER. I know that’s just not possible. There are WAY too many people to thank. I may never know some of the people who supported me this year.

Not only do I want to thank you, but I also want to show you some ways YOU have impacted the Kingdom.

Because of you…

  • A street in the dump in The Philippines was cleaned so that vans/busses could bring children to school & church.

  • Thousands of Malaysians became aware of the extraordinary amount of child abuse that takes place within their country.

  • Prostitutes in Thailand were loved for who.they.are — not what they do.

  • Teenagers in Cambodia learned English.

  • Children in Kenya were held.

  • A church in Rwanda was roofed.

  • A family in Uganda adopted 6 Americans.

  • Kids with HIV danced in India.

  • Orphans in Nepal were loved.

  • A man with an accordian in Ukraine was celebrated.

  • A discipleship camp in Romania was cleaned/set up.

  • The Banana Dance is now an international phenomenon.

Samantha Allen was called into greatness. She learned Who her Maker is and how much HE loves her — and how unconditional, unrelenting, and unfailing that love really is. She learned that she is worthy to be loved. She is beautiful. She has a voice. She can be a planet shaker. She has been chosen. She is a powerful woman of God. Her identity is in Christ and Christ alone.

Because of you, the world will never be the same.

Thank you for being a world changer!

With all the love on earth & in Heaven,
Samantha
