… not much, but I promise you there is! [I hope all of you from home are singing “Indiana Beeeee-each!”]
Meet Amber Kincaid! I heard about Amber before she applied for the World Race. She and I share a friend we love to call BP. [Only God knows why BP has stayed friends with both of us].
Amber and I hung out the entire week at training camp — and knew there would be no chance we would end up on the same team. She was crazy. Seriously. CRAZY! BUT. She put a smile on my face. Instant winner in my book.
When teams were announced in December, we both cracked up thinking that our squeaders [squad leaders] were out of their minds.
I was super thankful to have not only one friend [Sarah], but two friends on this team.
Even though we have definitely had our ups and downs / personality conflicts, I have learned so much about myself and so much about other people through living with Amber. I love Amber more than I can express. [She's making a sick face while reading this & thinking that if the word "precious" is written anywhere in this blog, she will vomit].
Amber:
is 22 years old.
may be the funniest person I know.
has a serious side — but can only handle being serious in small increments.
loves sending sick texts “you eating this out of…”
has the best immune system in the world.
encourages like crazy.
has the MOST disgusting stuffed animal in the world — his name is Rabbie.

can find humor in any situation.
LOVES Africa.
has a word or analogy for everything.
is a little too obsessed with Beth Moore.
can break tension no matter where we go.
loves when words get twisted [ex: saying butt-gusting instead of gut-busting]
is not a fan of children.

can make anyone/everyone feel welcome.
has walked in SO much freedom over the past few months.
is an amazing friend.
studied at the University of Southern Indiana
[home of the Screamin’ Eagles (That’s right. SCREAMIN’).
constantly looks to serve others.
has sweet dance moves that she shares with us.

brushes her teeth more than the rest of our team combined.
leads by example.
shares everything [deodorant, clothes, toothpaste, etc].
writes awesome/encouraging notes.
writes hilarious poems/songs.
constantly quotes Dumb & Dumber / Mrs. Doubtfire.
is probably the best story teller I have ever heard.
uses phrases such as “long hair-don’t care” and “bunch a crunch.”
is incapable of taking a “normal” picture.

can never win a bet — yet she continues to bet on everything…
will never be too old or too mature to think mooning is not funny.
prays with more faith/fervor than anyone I know.
is full of joy.
would do just about anything for a friend.
has the most unique/intimate relationship with God that I’ve ever seen.
Just like there’s more than corn in Indiana, there’s more than this to Amber — but I will leave you with just this little nugget of info.
