Check out my sweet new tat!

… Just kidding. πŸ™‚

This was only marker – for my Halloween costume. [Thanks, Samara!]

In the course of 7 days, I celebrated Thanksgiving, Christmas, AND Halloween. I think I can safely say

“Only on the World Race…”

On our final night with Janet, Pastor Francis, and the House of Timothy, they took us out for Thanksgiving dinner. The food was SO great, and we were all very THANKFUL for the time we were able to spend together.

On Thursday night, Miss Lisa [one of the women who volunteers with the street evangelism ministry] invited Team Gozo and Team PLJ to her house for dinner. We used Christmas plates & she said this could be our Christmas dinner. πŸ™‚

Again, the food was amazing. I had a fun night just hanging out with Miss Lisa and her family. Another example of awesome hospitality. [oh. Miss Lisa & her family are actually from Mississippi & spending a few years in Malaysia teaching. Pretty small world, huh?]

Andd… as you saw in my first picture, we celebrated Halloween – on the actual date. Most of us dressed up & walked around town. SUCH a fun night. πŸ™‚

Coming into the World Race, I knew holidays would be different than back home, but I never thought I’d celebrate 3 in one week! πŸ™‚
