HI!
Just letting you know — I'm alive! 🙂
I won't have internet again for the next 3 weeks — when we go back to Nairobi for THE Q Debrief.
a few highlights –
– ministry = door-to-door … we're meeting some amazing people. people are coming to know the Lord. healings.salvations.prophesies. all the normal stuff, ya know?
– housing = staying with an amazing family with 3 kids — age 5, 6, & 7 [I think]. sleeping under mosquito nets. eating AMAZING food. using a squatty potty. bucket showers. awesome [not that I shower regularly anyway…].
– weather = Kenya is COLD in the morning/evening. afternoons get warm. the breeze makes me feel like I'm in Illinois in Autumn.
– location = border of Tanzania. I may or may not have stepped onto the other side without permission. no, I didn't get in trouble. I simply waved to the guards standing nearby & smiled. 🙂 [Just for you, Jillian!]
– blogs = I have a few written, but I'm currently sitting in a sketchy internet cafe, so the blogs will have to wait to be posted until Nairobi.
please keep my team & me in your prayers. health. safety. all that jazz. i LOVE my teammates so much & feel so blessed to spend each day with them.
