My usual End-of-the-Month bloggy-blog. Here's my India! πŸ™‚

Busses in India are semi-crowded… AND there is a special section in the front of the bus for Ladies Only. πŸ™‚

Where we were in India, if a guy & girl were hanging out alone together, people suspect they are dating.

Men & women also sit on opposite sides of church… interesting…

Traditional Indian garb where we were consisted of Kurtas & leggings.

Chopping vegetables at 6am — good team bonding time. πŸ™‚

i. LOVE. rooftops!

When Indian people talk, they wiggle their heads so that it’s difficult to tell if they are saying “yes” or “no.”

Indian mosquitoes love me. My Filipino legs returned…

The Cricket World Cup is a huge deal in India — especially since INDIA WON!!

On the way home on the night of the CWC Championship game, we pulled over just in time for a middle-of-the-road dance party/celebration with a group of young Indian men who were blaring Backstreet Boys from their car.

Alley cricket games are a lot of fun to join.

India is HUGE. and each state has its own language & customs/traditions.

My month in India was my “It’s a Hard-Rock Life For Us” month… I may or may not have eaten at Hard Rock Café 7 times… and only paid for it myself once… blessings abound. Blessings abound.

Yes, 6 people can fit in a Rikshaw. However, when it comes to the women of Team Kindle… hips don’t lie…

God is REALLY big. I remember sitting in a room filled with people from the World Race, India, Uganda, Rwanda, Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, & so on… all worshiping the same God together. Beautiful.

I could easily be a vegetarian. My love for veggie-burgers grew so much in India.

Taco Bell in India does not have beef… but a chicken crunchwrap is still just as good.

More than once, we used an ambulance as our mode of transportation. My favorite trip consisted of 15 of us in the back and JD conversing in Spanish with a woman from Chile. Perfect.

I will never be too old / too mature to run through sprinklers in a park.

Chia breaks twice a day — morning & night… I could get used to that.

Sleepovers will never get old for me… for Laura’s birthday, we threw her a surprise 16 person sleepover at our contact’s house. The next day, we had Ladies’ Day where we ate amazing food, took hot showers, dressed up, put makeup on, & learned how to belly dance. I love India.

I really love Team Kindle.

I LOVE riding motorbikes through cities.

Bucket showers are actually quite nice…

Indian people are really friendly. I made some incredible friends.

A dozen roses is only $3 in India… that’s the way to go for buying flowers. πŸ™‚

Hyderabad has zero places for a person to get baptized…thus the reason we resorted to using a hotel bathtub. I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Team Kindle + Team Eleutheroo = THE Q DANCE COMPETTION DOMINATION!
